Future AI Summit'25 Held at BAU with the Theme "Metamorph"

On 16-17 April 2025, Bahçeşehir University hosted Future AI Summit'25, one of the most comprehensive artificial intelligence events in Türkiye and the MENA region. The summit, organized this year under the theme "Metamorph," addressed the role of artificial intelligence in technological, social and ethical transformation.

The event was opened by Lucia, an AI-powered virtual host. Stating that all the content of the summit had been prepared with artificial intelligence systems, BAU Global Vice President Dr. Serdar Şenel emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer just a tool but a force for transformation.

At the summit, which featured 120 speakers in 36 sessions over two days, senior executives of global technology companies such as Microsoft, Google, Huawei and Dell met with participants. Michelle Gyles-McDonnough, Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), also contributed to the summit with a video message.

In her speech, BAU President Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu drew attention to ethical values, saying, "People must be at the center of technological developments." More than 8,000 people attended the summit held at the Beşiktaş South Campus, and participants had the opportunity to experience applications of artificial intelligence in different sectors.
